What session themes/streams would you like to see featured in next year’s programme?

What are your thoughts around focus and engagement of students? Does it need to be strengthened? If so, how do we make that happen, who can help, and what do we shift focus away from to accommodate it?

Feedback during our discussion sessions indicated some interest in broadening the conference to increase participation from both government agencies, and from the private sector. Please indicate whether you are in favour of this, and if so, how you would suggest we restructure the conference timetable to accommodate these changes.

One potential way to restructure the conference would be to add posters as the main presentation medium for non-invited speakers, combined with a brief (e.g., 2 minute) lightening talk to build interest in the poster. What are your thoughts on this suggestion? Do you see particular advantages and/or disadvantages with this approach?
